Homestead on Main is a spacious, beautifully renovated home in the heart of Mountain View. Just a 5-minute walk from the historic courthouse square, it's the perfect place for families and groups to gather while enjoying the town's live folk music, local shops, restaurants, and small-town charm.
After a day of exploring the Ozarks, relax in the large living room, fire up the grill for dinner, or gather around the dining table for a family meal. The home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and features four spacious bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, and modern updates while maintaining its mid-century character.
We're happily pet-friendly! The $85 pet fee covers up to 3 dogs.
You'll also be just a short drive from the White River, Ozark Folk Center State Park, Blanchard Springs Caverns, North Sylamore Creek, hiking trails, and some of the area's best fishing. Need more space? Rent the neighboring Granny Cabin to accommodate a larger group.

Such a beautiful place! Looks just like the pictures. My family is from Ohio and we stayed here over Christmas while visiting my mom’s side of the family. It was the perfect place to crash every evening and was comfortable enough for all 7 of us. We see more

Great location, walking to downtown is a short walk. Place was comfortable and had new linens and was clean in the main house. Sunroom where I believe they allow dogs was not as clean(dog hair and dead ants on the floor). Had most things you’d need.

We were the first guests to stay and the Homestead on Main was immaculate and spacious. Kitchen was stocked with everything you might need. Although close enough to the town square to walk, we choose to drive. it might be a little far for those with see more

Although close enough to the town square to walk, we choose to drive. it might be a little far for those with mobility issues. Keep in mind this house sits directly on the main highway through town, so there is quite a bit of traffic noise during the day. That being said, it was not a problem at night. Hosts were easy to communicate with and even sent a text on Saturday to check in and make sure everything was to our liking. We had a wonderful stay.

Although it needs a bit of updating, it was great that we had enough room for all 7 of us. One suggestion would be to move the door that is on the front bedroom to the doorway adjacent to the living room. There are hinges there, but no door. It wouldsee more

It would afford the guests in that room privacy from everyone in the living room. Another suggestion would be to raise the threshold in the shower in the largest bathroom so water doesn’t escape onto the outer floor.
